Civil War Period Brass: Twilight Concert

Step back in time to hear the nostalgic melodies of a Civil War period band performing at the Gettysburg Military Park’s landmark Pennsylvania Monument. Dressed in full uniform, the 8^th Georgia Regiment Band will perform unique band scores as well as authentically styled arrangements, from both the North and South, using original mid-nineteenth century instruments.  Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the beautiful battlefield setting as this concert concludes at sunset with a stirring rendition of Taps.
