The All-American Brass Picnic and Culinary Food Fair combines the excellence of brass concerts on the Festival Main Stage, with culinary excellence in adjacent tents. All 2010 Festival brass performances are free and open to the public. The musical performances are enhanced by classic, American picnic fare, panel discussions with chefs, and culinary samplings and demonstrations offered by PA Preferred, the PA Department of Agriculture’s showcasing of culinary products of distinction. A wide selection of award-winning PA craft beers will be available. The entire event takes place on the shaded, rolling lawn of Gettysburg College, for a classic summertime “picnic in the park” experience. The ambience is further enhanced by plein air (open air) landscape artists painting works of art before your eyes.
