Featuring the PA Iron Chefs and Former White House Chef Walter Scheib

The Festival’s Annual Fundraising Event, hosted by Jane and Mike Rice in one of the most spectacular estates in the region, will be an evening to remember. Wander through multiple dining stations including the Tuscan-style kitchen, Asian-themed sculpture gardens, Caribbean-themed pool area, gorgeous wine cellar and many more, all showcasing premium Pennsylvania ingredients. Experience culinary demonstrations, world class art, live entertainment and a live auction. This culinary adventure is being directed by the Festival’s Director of Culinary Arts, Walter Scheib, former White House Chef, in collaboration with Pennsylvania’s Award Winning Iron Chefs.
Pennsylvania’s Iron Chefs include:
- James Batterson (Banquet Sous Chef, Wyndham, Gettysburg, PA)
Chef James Batterson is a multi-year gold medal champion in the PA Iron Chef Competition and graduate of the Culinary Institute of America.
- Michael Geary (Executive Chef/Food & Beverage Director, Holiday Inn, Breinigsville, PA)
In addition to earning the title of PA Iron Chef in 2007, 2008 and 2009, Chef Michael Geary’s talents have been recognized by Bon Appétit, Style, and Gourmet Magazine as well as a host of state and regional publications.
- Mark Pawlowski (Executive Chef/Director of Food and Beverage, The Yorktowne Hotel, York, PA)
A certified executive chef through the American Culinary Federation, this multi-award winner has presented dinners at the James Beard House in New York City.
- David Stoltzfus (Executive Chef, Morrison’s at Rydal Park, Abington, PA)
A three-time PA Iron Chef award winner, this Culinary Institute of America graduate has run everything from four diamond hotels to exotic resorts in the Caribbean.
Pennsylvania’s agricultural bounty is the star of the farm-to-table philosophy of all of the Festival’s culinary events, through our partnership with the Department of Agriculture’s PA Preferred Program. The PA Preferred Program is designed to connect locally sourced, Pennsylvania products directly to chefs and consumers.

Tickets to the Festival culinary events are available in limited quantity. Please note that tickets may not be available at the door; reservations are strongly suggested.
