Saturday, June 19, 2010 to Monday, June 21, 2010

Student musicians are invited to spend a weekend with the world-famous Boston Brass for a unique summer camp experience. The Sunderman Conservatory of Music at Gettysburg College, in collaboration with Gettysburg Festival, presents the Boston Brass Academy featuring master classes, small and large ensemble workshops, technique clinics, and a performance by the Boston Brass at the Gettysburg Festival Main Stage. The academy is open to brass musicians currently enrolled in grades 9 – 12. Please note this is a non-residential camp; students and families are welcome to commute or secure area accommodations. The registration deadline is May 15.

Artist Accolades

"The members of the group are more than just great players, they are incredible educators! I have witnessed their clinics and master classes for the last seven years, and it is no wonder they are the most sought after brass quintet in the world today."

Rick DeJonge, Artist and Program Development Coordinator, Jupiter Band Instruments, Inc.
